![]() ![]() The storyline between Hook and the Blue fairy was heavily teased and I was happy about its income. Pan is still a great villain and character in general, so enjoyable to watch and you can see the author definitely took a gamble with him. Both books deliver an interesting portrayal of Maleficent, making her human and relatable while keeping her badass attitude and all those small details that constitute her identity. her story is explored here and though there is a question of love, magic, and betrayal, it has nothing to do with the Angela Jolie live-action movie or the novel from Serena Valentino. The '' main character'' does has something to do with it: Maleficent, the Dark Fairy, the self-proclaimed Mistress of All Evil, one of the most beloved Disney Villains, if not one of the most iconic villains ever and my favorite since early childhood. ![]() Hidden in the Woods is probably my favorite out of the three novels of the Scary Faerie Tales trilogy by author M.A Kersh. Twists in every chapter, cautionary messages underlined in every word, and a spark of magic: that's how you conclude a trilogy( and hopefully another one will be available soon!). ![]()
